Our School Houses

Every child is part of one of the four houses, and will be given the opportunity to earn house points throughout the year. House points are awarded to children who demonstrate our school values and Buckingham B's. While we have four individual houses and there are termly 'House Events', children work together to contribute to the wider-school community and a whole-school reward.

The Houses

At Buckingham Park Primary School, classes are named after British birds found in Sussex, so it makes sense that our houses are named after mythical birds.

 The Community House Points System

Children participate in various house events throughout the year, e.g. Sports Day, which happen annually towards the end of the academic year, and smaller house events, which happen each half term. Participating in these activities allows children to develop their sense of belonging and strengthen the community bond across the school. They also give children the opportunity to develop their personal skills, and apply our school values to a range of tasks and activities.

We thank you in advance for your support and we look forward to seeing all the amazing house achievements throughout the year.
